Nuclear Physics Aspects of Cold Fusion Experiments Scientific Summary after ICCF-7

چکیده
The circumstance that I made the scientific summary on Nuclear Products in Cold Fusion Experiments also after ICCF-6 1 gives to me the opportunity of combining the comparison of the results from two subsequent conferences and of discussing globally the impressive achievements gained in these last three years. The major achievement at ICCF-6 was, to my opinion, the evidence of the correlation between Excess Heat, when measured, and the production of He, observed in quantities of the same order of magnitude of what expected form the hypothesis that the reaction d + d → He + (energy) is the main source of energy in Cold Fusion experiments. This conclusion was reached by several experiments. At ICCF-7, besides the confirmation of this fact, a further striking experimental result was presented, shedding light on one of the two (or three) “miracles” that were often referred to as necessary to explain the Cold Fusion Experiments. The “miracles” are:

Cold Fusion—From the Laboratory to the World Setting the Stage for ICCF-17
The objective of ICCF-17 is to allow international groups of scientists to present their data to further the collective understanding of scientists working in the field and so that skeptical members of the mainstream scientific community, the media, and the public will see the evidence that “cold fusion” is real. Indeed, several groups are currently developing commercial products that produce e...

The advancement of science and technology normally occurs through evolutionary research and development. These activities and their fruits, knowledge and capabilities, might be very interesting and useful, but they normally do not challenge our overall view of the world. When something revolutionary comes to light, the potential paradigm shift, then we are forced to examine both our knowledge a...
متن کاملEffect of non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma on MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells
Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has received great attention due to its noteworthy ability, and has also been widely studied over few decades in physics, biology and medicine. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the cold atmospheric pressure plasma effects on the proliferation of breast cancer cells. MDA-MB-231 was used for this experiment. MDA-MB-231 cells were cultured in 24-well plate and...
متن کاملSummary of ICCF 14 The 14 th International Conference on Cold Fusion
Overview Between August 10 and 15, the 14th International Conference on Condensed Matter Nuclear Science (ICCF14) took place in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (on Capitol Hill). In many ways, this conference was an historic event. For the first time, experimental evidence was presented that shows conclusively that excess heat can be reproduced on demand. In one series of experiment...
متن کامل- th / 0 41 00 77 v 1 1 8 O ct 2 00 4 Some Calculations for Cold Fusion Superheavy Elements ∗
The Q value and optimal exciting energy of the hypothetical superheavy nuclei in cold fusion reaction are calculated with relativistic mean field model and semiemperical shell model mass equation(SSME) and the validity of the two models is tested. The fusion barriers are also calculated with two different models and reasonable results are obtained. The calculations can give useful references fo...
